Can I add models to the database that are not included?
Yes, additional models can be easily added in the products section by selecting Add instead of Edit and entering the new models and information.
Can I also add Brands and Categories that are not set up by CMIC?
Yes, from the Administrative list, choose Vendors, Brands, and Categories to add to any list.
When are models dropped from the CMIC database?
We manage our model list to the current manufacturer’s current published price list. However our updates do not drop models from your database since you may need to continue to use the information.
Can we change the CMIC features for models?
Yes, descriptions and features can be changed or edited and can be saved.
Can monthly payments or savings be calculated by DataTags?
Yes, the program will calculate the amounts for you in the custom banners.
Can I change the font size if I want a bigger price?
Font sizes or types can be re-formatted in our templates using Microsoft Word. Colors can be added also if you have a color printer.
Can I create my own templates?
The CMIC templates include the fields to merge our data without any data entry. To create a new size template we can create a custom template for you.
How many tags can I print at one time?
There really is not a limit except your printer paper capacity. You can select as many models to print and print any number of collated sets or specific quantities per model.
Can DataTags software be networked?
Yes, the software can be installed on each PC workstation and mapped to a common PC server drive. This way all users will have the same data source.
Can we add graphics to your templates?
Yes, graphics or logos can be imported in templates provided the proper space is available.
